Before becoming Vice President for Investigations for the County Wide Group, Tony spent decades learning and perfecting his investigative skills. He spent over 20 years with the New York City Police Department, retiring from the Hate Crime Task Force but not before he was designated with the distinguished rank of Detective First Grade. Tony then took his investigative talents to the prestigious New York University as their Emergency Communications Manager. At NYU, Tony was responsible for the Emergency Notification System, which would notify over 60,000 students, staff, and faculty, globally, in the event of an emergency. He also managed and maintained the University’s Traveler Locator System, which was responsible for locating and contacting over 9,700 travelers, in 130 countries, on 6 continents. NYU also looked to Tony to provide assessments of security issues associated with proposed international trips. Using his background in investigations and experience in educational institutes, Tony went on to work for the New York City Department of Education as a Confidential Investigator. He conducted highly sensitive and confidential investigations, concluding in Reports and Recommendations to the Chief Investigator. Tony has extensive computer skills, is a New York State Licensed Private Investigator and Armed Security Guard, and a member of a number of professional associations.
